The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.

Soccer Magnets

I don't understand soccer ball magnets. You know, the ones you see on the back of people's vehicles (mostly SUV's or Minivans) I played soccer for a long time, and I never had the urge to place soccer magnets on the back of my vehicle as if to say "Look at me! I play soccer. Soccer is a sport, and here's what the ball looks like if you didn't know!"

Most of these magnets don't have any insignia or text on it, in that case I would understand. Instead they are just a likeness of a ball, of the soccer kind. Sortof an advertisement for a sport as if the owner of the vehicle feels it necessary to get other people to join their cause in promoting soccer as a sport. I don't get it.

First off, if someone wants to choose between two sports to play, they don't have to think too hard to come up with a list of possible choices. Secondly, if they are considering a sport based on seeing it on the back of my mom's minivan, I don't think I want to be involved in any extra curricular activities with them anyways.

Have you ever seen a baseball bat magnet or a football magnet on the back of someone's car? Probably not. In fact, I think I'm gonna put a computer sticker on the back of my truck. It's not going to say anything else, just "Computer". Or better yet, "Couch". I like my couch at home and I think people around the world need to know that I like my couch.

"Lamp" because I love lamp. That sounds like a winner.
