The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.

Mitch Gitelman posted today was the official last day of employment for those who had not moved on to other positions. About half of the team has found positions at Microsoft game studios. It is always sad to see a studio close, especially one like FASA.
Goku and Gnome will be coming to stay with me before we go to MLG Chicago in a couple of weeks. Before we go, we are going to play on LAN and we need some people to play against.
The potential LAN will happen on Wednesday the 15th.
Who can attend?
Make sure you know your way around Shadowrun or we'll just have to play against the bots.

Description: This video is intended to showcase my appreciation of the graphics of Shadowrun, but much more than that. I like to see some of the things FASA has put in there like the different posters and things and showcase them here, in this video. There's lots of cool objects and things in Shadowrun maps, and maybe you've missed them because you're too busy being a ninja. No more. The original idea is credited to Jamie98s who originally did several of these in Halo 2. We talked it over, so he's cool with it. Enjoy the movie! Not recommended for short attention spans, and I tried to do my best...even though it doesn't look like it I had to crop like 80% of the HUD. Many thanks to SubRandom for the poster.

The fourth and final episode of the Red vs Blue makers' mini-series called 1-800-MAGIC has come to an end. Below are the four videos in order of release. All videos were shot inside the Shadowrun engine:
1-800-MAGIC. Now I get it.
This episode is ten times better than the first episode. The first part is really funny and I was rolling from beginning to end.
FASA says that the Shadowrun demo will hit the XBOX Live Marketplace this week. Wednesday June 6th is the target date although FASA says that it may wait until June 8th to release the demo.
Perhaps it has got something with the soon-to-be-ending HALO 3 beta. After all, we've discovered that Bungie is going to refer all of the beta participants over to Shadowrun.

Some people claim this is best first person shooter on the XBOX 360. However, some major reviewers have given this game scores less than 7.0/10. I personally think it's the best FPS to be released for the XBOX 360. Gamespot users don't agree with Gamespot's review either.
I'm almost convinced to write a point-counterpoint article investigating why Shadowrun is getting low reviews. I do know the game has been knocked for having poor graphics, no campaign, and not being a role-playing game (yeah, Shadowrun has a huge backstory and a loyal fanbase that is displeased that the game wasn't called "Shadowrun - the first person shooter adapted by Microsoft". Seriously. Those guys are worked up over this game not having a subtitle). Of course, I think the graphics look great.
What say you? Try out the demo later this week and see. You'll be playing a version of the game that's very similar to the beta that several THX's got to play.
Tip: Play Elf and buy Teleport to move around the map quick and Resurrect your team members. Elf too fast for you? Play Human and make sure some buys Tree of Life in the first round.
By the way: we hear you'll be playing on Power Station:
Stay tuned for announcement about a Shadowrun LAN we are going to hold.
