rapture is the only one who correctly organized the Halo games' multiplayer modes from best to worst. GG. rapture is also the only one who gave his most fleshed out opinion on the beta. Good job representing the Casket. We Thexers are proud.

Looking forward to the LAN tomorrow. I've been trying to keep up with the equipment totals and I think they are fairly accurate.

If you can afford to bring a TV (or two), bring it. The same goes for a console and controllers. We only do this a handful of times per year now-a-days. Let's do it right!

The more screens we have, the more screen real estate we can share and the more side games we can get going.

Don't forget to bring a chair so that you'll be comfortable while playing.

First off, I have released the site today on 1/1/7 for you to start using so that you can begin providing feedback, recommending suggestions, and filing bug reports. With your normal use, you'll eventually help evolve the website into a highly functional and useful tool for us. This site will evolve sightly over the next few months. New features will be added as you suggest them. Of course, not all features will be added, but feel free to ask away. You are going to find bugs with the site. File a bug report and we'll squash it.

Save the date. I've met with Midnight and on Saturday, January 6th, 2007th I will host a HALO 1 LAN at my place starting at noon. You can play until noon on Sunday at which time I'll begin chainsawing you with my Lancer.

This LAN will be like the others. No H2 allowed. No Guitar Hero 2 allowed. No laser pointers anywhere near my cat. Gears of Wars. What to do? I say we'll experiment with a little GoW LAN action. However like H2, since we can play GoW MP online at any time, we'll be making the most of Hang 'Em High and Damnation.

Bring TV's and XBOXEN. Bring fold up chairs. Bring snacks and drinks. Chaos will be bringing cookies.

Regular local attendees are expected plus these special guests:

Midnight and BattleBitch are flying in from California. jayWHY is flying down from Philly. D4RE B34R and D1ESEL are driving up from Auburn. A few others have mentioned driving a few hours to attend the LAN but are still unconfirmed.

For those coming out of town, you are welcome to crash at my place as long as you've made arrangements with me.
