Included in Halo 3: ODST will be a multiplayer map pack for Halo 3 which will include a remake of the popular Halo 2 map 'Midship'.
The map pack will include three maps called Heretic (the Midship remake), Citadel (small, symmetrical, indoor Forerunner facility), and Longshore (large shipping complex).
For the past several months, I've rediscovered Halo 3 multiplayer with Disavowed and Deathslayer. It's probably been some of the best Xbox LIVE gaming I've experienced. Deathslayer got the idea to plan a day to meet regularly to play. We've tried it out for the past few Tuesdays and that's going to be our night.
So, join up this Tuesday at 7 PM CST and meet us online for some Halo 3 multiplayer.

Halo: Reach
A multiplayer beta of Halo: Reach will be available with the purchase of Halo 3: ODST which releases September 22nd. Halo: Reach will be released sometime in 2010.
There’s no indication what genre this game will be although many believe it to be a prequel.
Halo 3: ODST
Narrative for Halo 3: ODST:
The year is 2552. The Covenant control the city of New Mombasa. They are searching for something beneath its darkened streets. You are an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper. Your orders: Stay alive, meet up with your scattered squad, and escape the embattled city. Stop the Covenant and we just might win this war.
Firefight is a new co-op mode available in ODST. Form a squad and fend off the Covies.
All released Halo 3 DLC maps plus three new Halo 3 maps will ship with ODST: Heretic, Longshore, and Citadel.
Recon armor will be achievable by playing Halo 3 and ODST.
SGT. Johnson will be a unlockable character in ODST if you pre-order.
Left 4 Dead 4
New melee combat options announced. Chainsaw, frying pag, axe, baseball bat, and blunt-force objects can be used. New AI Director 2.0 announced and will direct weather effects, world objects, and pathways provided to players.
To be released November 17th.
Valve has said this game will be larger than the original game with more maps and campaigns.

A game journalist from Spike TV TwitPic'd this image from an upcoming E3 promo trailer. This may be at least part of the cast of the upcoming Halo 3 ODST game.
Sandbox is one of three new multiplayer maps that will be made available as downloadable content for Halo 3. The take away from the screenshot of the above is that not much is know about the map. This screenshot reveals a lot. I'm looking forward to the map.

I'm throwing out the idea of having a THX Holiday LAN. If interest is shown, but a better venue doesn't present itself, then I'll host. If anyone wants to host, or knows of a good venue, please jump in.
I could host one Saturday, Jan. 4th. I could attend one just about any weekend except for the one after Xmas.
What do you guys think?
Some random thoughts of mine about LANning:
1. HALOween was fun. I think H3, w/ a mix of objective-based games and MLG rules, and the occasional rocket race, is as good as it gets for me. I don't know if all of you share my affinity, although some of you do (rap, D3ATHsLAYER).
2. If it IS at my place, then it will be much the same as the last LAN: H3 and CoD4. I'll also be somewhat more prepared for stragglers, i.e. 4-way split-screen on my new 56" DLP.
3. If it ISN'T at my place, and game choice is different, then hey, I'll still have a good time. I've had fun LANning CoD4 and GoW2 w/ you guys before...
