Hang 'Em High comes to Left 4 Dead

The Left 4 Dead community has been busy making L4D mods. One of them is a map of the classic Halo: Combat Evolved level Hang 'Em High. Check out the video above to give the map a look. Certainly brings back memories of Halo 1 LANs and Halo PC days.

I had a good time playing this map yesterday. Obviously HEH was built for HALO which is why the L4D gameplay on this map is a little off. And the particle effects and some other graphical elements were not seen in this map (fire, explosions, destructible environments, etc.). Still, it is worth the download - especially for any HALO fan who owns L4D.
Sidenote: I used FRAPS to capture this footage. I recorded 30 frames per second video at 1680 x 1050 resolution with audio WHILE getting greater than 60 frames per second in L4D. This is the first sign of the 8GB of RAM getting put to use. Sweet!
Also, Celery's computer couldn't handle L4D or TF2. He has a very weak computron.

The game would have been more fun if Celery's computer didn't keep slowing down so much. It's really a wimpy machine.

I hate you guys! It's not my computer, it was oculus crappy map pack not loading any maps right and getting stuck on the loading No Mercy screen!
It was awesome, too bad you did not get the video when I jumped on the platform and all the zombies freaked out and just stared at me.. moving only when I would move!
We shall have to do it again, looks like we can have more players coming soon! The dream of having an in-house versus is almost here.
Also note, that Mintz was dominated by celery in tf2. His weak sniper skillz < my flamethrower.

Sorry I didn't play yesterday. I just didn't feel like downloading custom content.
We were commenting on how this map and it's textures actually looked better than the original. GG map makers.
Mintz and I talked of modifying this one a bit even. Adding some objectives wouldn't hurt. Still had fun trying to stay alive for 15 minutes.
Oooh, a PC LAN? Sounds delicious.
I admit I am above-average, yet below Celery, at TF2. Still fun to play, though.
I look forward to killing thousands more zombies with you guys. Although I have to admit, being the zombies makes me giddy. It's just so evil and fun.
You know, I like this PC gaming thing. I haven't touched my 360 in weeks, other than for watching movies.
Let me know when you figure out how to modify HEH, Mike. I'd like to help and/or make my own.
@Mintz: you'll need the L4d level editor. Last I checked it wasn't out yet. Obviously it is as people are making maps. Perhaps it is in the L4D SDK? Perhaps they are using the TF2 or HL2 editor?
The level editor will resemble 3dsmax. In fact, 3dsmax was required to make Halo PC maps.
Had fun playing TF2 with you guys this weekend. Let's hit up some L4D and TF2 this week.
Apparently you have to dl some user-made tools, because the SDK is not out yet.

There is a hang'em high map on TF2 as well. I played it last night, it makes a fun arena gameplay map.
