Echoes of War

So, I ran across an interesting story on Kotaku today. Apparently the Eminence Symphony Orchestra released probably one of the most amazing music collections I've never thought of hearing this way.
They've basically been composing and arranging full orchestral music from the world of Blizzard- The Diablo series, Starcraft, and Warcraft.
After reading the Kotaku article linked at the beginning of this post, checking out the sample tracks, and checking out the video trailer, I'm definitely convinced this is worth a buy. I'm a big fan of classical music anyhow...and combining that with games is usually win-win.
The "Echoes of War" release is in 2 different packages. You can buy the Standard Edition for $29.95. The Standard Edition contains:
* Two audio CDs
* 8-page colour booklet
* 15 audio tracks
* Over 90 MINUTES of orchestral music including exclusive music from World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, StarCraft: Ghost, StarCraft 2 and Diablo III
The 2nd package is the "Legendary Edition" for $49.95. The Legendary Edition comes with:
* Two audio discs
* DVD including feature length documentary Inside the Echoes of War, Kow Otani featurette Taking of Diablo and more
* 32-page colour booklet
* Nine exclusive art cards
* 15 audio tracks
* Over 90 MINUTES of orchestral music including exclusive music from World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, StarCraft: Ghost, StarCraft 2 and Diablo III
Apparently from what Kotaku says, there is a limited number of the Legendary Edition being made. What that number is, is unknown- might be just a sales ploy. No way of knowing, yet.
The documentary "behind the scenes" aspect of the Legendary Edition really caught my eye...so I'm springing for the Legendary.
Sounds awesome. I've always thought the audio in Blizzard's titles have been superb. I'd be interested in it for the nostalgia, the old, familiar soundtracks.
I wouldn't mind have this, but not at $30 bucks.
I just received my Echoes of War package today...I'll probably be writing a review when I fully get through it all. So far it is totally worth the cash.
