Oktoberfest 2008, Sept. 11-14, Redstone Arsenal

Fall is approaching, and with it one of my favorite events: Oktoberfest. Beer drinkers unite on Sept. 11 - 14, 2008 on the Arsenal for some good food, great beers, and carnies. It's not the real thing, but if you can't make it to Munich this year, then this is better than nothing! I'll probably be attending on Saturday, but may make it out Friday night, too, depending what else may be going on that weekend. I'm not missing out on the monster 32 oz mug this year! Brats, beer, and schnitzel FTW!

I heard that Ted Nugent's going to be there.

I'd really like to come to this. Sounds like fun!

I'm going to go tonight for a little while, hang out w/ Jeff, Christina, Mike, Katie, Andrew, and may run into some other people I know. Then I plan to go on Saturday, also. The Auburn game comes on @ 6pm CST, and I'm going to be in the sports tent, watching football, drinking German beer, and eating German food. That's a combination that's tough to beat. If anyone wants to join me then, you're more than welcome.

BTW, I think Bama is playing Saturday night at the same time as Auburn. They're playing Western Kentucky, so I doubt it'll be televised. But who knows, they may get it on PPV. If so, you bama fans can watch your team spank the Hilltoppers on one of the several big-screens they normally have in the sports tent.

Looking forward to it tonight.

I totally forgot about this, but I really want to come! Hope I can pull it off!
