The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.

I think Microsoft has made some very interesting news at this E3. Still, we have no word from Bungie or about any Halo-related titles. However, this is only the first day of E3.
Bungie has a countdown timer on Bungie.net suggesting that an announcement will be made on Tuesday Wednesday.
What do you guys think about these announcements?

The only things I really
The only things I really care about are: Anything RB2, GTA IV DLC, Netflix, Dashboard update, and all the featured games. Who cares about the avatars? And who cares about Lips if you can just get Rock Band with just a mic, AND the ability to get drums/guitars if you desire?
Overall, I'm happy with the changes, and can't wait to buy GoW2.
I thought Bungie was going to announce something today. Oh well, I can wait.
That Netflix thing sounds
That Netflix thing sounds really cool! Lots of cool goodies!

The instruments intimidate a lot of people. A mic is much more user friendly. So, I can see why they want to get into that market. I hope licensing doesn't conflict with Rock Band stuff. I don't intend to get Lips. Of course, it depends on the songs, I guess.
I'm looking forward to the new UI and LIVE Parties. GoW2 is going to be cool. Looking forward to the Portal Sequel (guess it'll be out on PC soon). Netflix is great. Primetime is interesting.
"You can share Netflix
"You can share Netflix movies and shows with your Live Party."
Whoa! Double awesome! So we can all be in a live party chatting and then watch Boondock Saints together because one of us has Netflix?!
Portal announcements are also great. Can't wait to purchase the original on XBLM and get the sequel when it arrives.

I'm wondering about the gotchas with the Netflix announcement. Only Gold subscribers can watch the Netflix movie.
I'm wondering if people in a LIVE Party that aren't Gold subscribers and/or don't have a Netflix account...I'm wondering if they'll be able to watch the movie.
I wonder if you'll be able
I wonder if you'll be able to stream Hi-Def Netflix movies, or just the SD ones they have available now. Because they didn't specifically say "Hi-Def", I'm assuming you'll only be able to stream SD.
Actually, I wonder if you'll even be able to stream it. You might have to download it and watch it in a few days before it expires. Maybe it'll use the same "ready-to-play" technology XBL already employs, in which it'll allow you to start watching a video once it's downloaded enough, and it'll continue to download while you watch it.
The whole Live Party thing
The whole Live Party thing sounds really cool. I think it will greatly improve interaction on Live with friends.
