I ran across an Xbox Halo edition, w/ 2 controllers, 10 games, and dvd playback kit for sale on the e-bulletin board at work. His asking price is a little high, but I think he'll come off of it. I know this, b/c I was mildly interested, and sent him an email to the effect that I did not need anything but the console, and would his asking price be different then. He called back, and said $115, and that he felt he was just "giving away" the games/controllers/dvd kit. I thanked him for calling, but told him that was well over what I had in mind, and then hung up. He called me back w/in 30 seconds, and asked what I'd be willing to pay. At that point, I told him I was only mildly interested, and that I'd call him back w/ a number. I figured I'd pass this along to any THXers who may be interested. I already have an Xbox, so I don't really need this. Best case scenario, imo, is to talk him down to ~ $85, and sell the crap you don't want on eBay, possibly netting the console for ~ $60 (depending on what you sell/how much it goes for).
