The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.
In case you don't read my blog, I wanted to let everyone know about a new men's online magazine I've been writing for called Primer. It's targeted at men in their 20s-30s who don't fit well with either Maxim or GQ. I've been writing fitness articles, but may expand to other things as well. I think it's a worthwhile magazine and I enjoy reading the articles (besides the ones I wrote myself, obviously). I encourage you to check it out.

I checked this website out
I checked this website out when I read your blog, and while I'm not quite in the target demographic yet, I feel I've gained a lot from reading the articles.
I especially like your rationale in part two of your story when you ask, "Why physical condition do you want to be in in the case of an emergency?" It's a really good article, and it's convinced me to do more than just push ups every morning.
That article was originally
That article was originally written as "What type of fitness do you want when escaping from a Grizzly Bear?" I suppose pics of Grizzly Bears were a little hard to come by, so the editor changed the theme a little. The deadlift example was originally "so you can roll a boulder at the grizzly bear."
Grizzly bears would have
Grizzly bears would have made your article about 4x cooler. Just adding this picture of a grizzly bear to my post makes it cooler.
Seems like your editor just didn't look hard enough.
