The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.
Would anyone be up for a mtn bike meetup this Saturday? I am new at this, but have all the necessary gear (decent bike and a helmet), and am wanting to get out on some trails and try it. This is something I think I could really get into, so I'm pretty anxious to give it a whirl. The weather should be perfect. So if anyone's interested, let me know!

Try to get in touch with Rev
Try to get in touch with Rev or Brick. I went with them once, and it was a lot of fun. I haven't stayed in shape lately, so I would more likely strain myself than have a good time.
I'll be at the rock band
I'll be at the rock band tournament until 1 PM or so, but I could possibly go late afternoon (3-4 PM). I no longer have a truck, so I'd need transportation.
I'll go if you guys pick me
I'll go if you guys pick me up.
If we're gonna drive to
If we're gonna drive to Delaware we might as well go mountain biking on a real mountain. I assume you've got something better than 1700 ft ASL within driving distance.
Noon is the latest I can
Noon is the latest I can start and realistically expect to be done in time to get ready for the Chevelle concert. If I hadn't already bought tickets, then I'd be glad to wait 'til the afternoon and give you a lift.
Maybe next time!
BTW: Rev and Brick are both
BTW: Rev and Brick are both daddies now. I'm guessing they won't be able to ride as much if at all.
Hrm. Cheap used mtn bikes anyone?

Sorry I missed this post.
Sorry I missed this post. I'm checking in kind of sporadically these days.
Rev and I will both be biking this year, just not as often. Both our wives now have a vested interest in making sure we don't drop dead from heart disease for the next couple of years... so we're still allowed out for excersize. I'll probably ride one day a week after work, and sometime Saturday (if I can swing it).
My bike had a problem on the last ride of last year, and I parked it in the garage all winter and haven't looked at it. I'm planning on working on it this weekend. If I can get it in shape I'm going to start hitting Monte Sano again next thursday (weather permitting).
I haven't done much of anything all winter. Anyone who's interested in going out won't be riding with a handicap. If you're a runner or work out you'll be riding at an advantage. I'll probably stick to the top of the mountain for several weeks.
Sorry I've been such a stranger.
