Joystiq just ran a story with some details on the new Aerosmith-devoted Guitar Hero sequel. I'm less interested in that than I am what's mentioned at the end of the article: their song "Dream On" will be free DLC for Guitar Hero III from Feb 16-18. I plan to scoop it up this weekend.
Sure, I like Aerosmith, but I don't know if their library alone can make a $60 rhythm game worth buying.

Agreed. My guess is, if it happens, it won't be a $60 game. I'll probably dwnld "Dream On" this weekend, though. Thanks for passing that on.
Dream On is one of the best
Dream On is one of the best songs available by Aerosmith. That's definitely one to DL, especially for free. I agree though; how can he provide enough music for an entire Guitar Hero?
Aerosmith has a huge library
Aerosmith has a huge library spanning more than 3 decades. They've got the quantity of material, but they're going to lose my interest after my favorite 7-8 songs.
That's exactly what I mean;
That's exactly what I mean; Guitar Hero is a game comprised of better songs by many artists; I don't think Aerosmith has enough songs that meet the standard.
