As part of Amazon's "10 days 10 deals" promotion, today they are selling the Xbox 360 Arcade along with Beautiful Katamari and Viva Pinata for a total of $255 shipped. The final discounts do not show up until you check out. See the picture above.

If you're interested, visit the above link, follow the directions (check each item on the page and hit "add to cart"), then go to checkout and change the shipping option to "free" and you're set. This would make a great Christmas gift for the casual gamer. The new Arcade SKU also comes with a memory unit, so it's Xbox Live capable out of the box...and it has HDMI!

'twould be nice to own a Falcon chip (65nm, as these are rumored to be). My Elite box runs pretty hot w/ the old 90nm chip. Paired w/ my *relatively* high-end PC rig, it literally heats my game room in the winter.

Microsoft would see some $$$ in that, they'd call it the "Xbox 360°," where it brings the temperature up from the dashboard so you won't have to pay for heating in the winter time.
