Same here, I don't plan on buying the new maps because I haven't played H3 multiplayer since COD4. $10 is rather stiff.

I'll be in Florida actually being with family for the holidays for the first time since 1997.

If you have it, I'd have to leave around 5:30pm.

Since my wife is having some of her girlfriends over this coming Saturday the 15th, my house will not be conducive to a LAN. Too many women doing God knows what (cooking, knitting, painting their toenails, naked pillow fights, etc.). Therefore the location has been moved to my brother's house. If we have enough players, then we'll run local custom matches. If not, then we'll play on XBL, mainly custom games with some matchmaking thrown in here and there, so if you can't make it to the LAN, you can still join up. I will have the network infrastructure setup ahead of time, running a router off his cable modem, and a 16 port switch off the router.

D3ATHsLAYER lives in 5 points, which should make it easier for some to make it, and a little further for us in the Owens Xroads area, but not by much.

Let me know if you're coming, and you need directions. I'll PM them to you.

I might be able to come, depending on whether I get my 360 back from Microsoft in time. I'd still have to be gone around 5pm.

I'm not pulling a Slayer here; my availability depends on Microsoft, not a third-party of friends who may or may not be cooler than THX.

If your box doesn't get back in time, you could always play on Critter's BAMF 47" 1080p LCD display. I'm sure he's got some room to spare on that thing. It's almost too big for how close his couch is to it, but I'm sure 4-way split-screen would be about right.

Of course, if you did that, you'd have to play on the same team, and wouldn't get to argue who is the better of the two of you...

Dwnlded the new maps last night. It was nearly a half GB (457MB) file. Standoff is a really fun map that I had a great time playing. Rat's nest is OK. Foundry is yet to be determined.

I don't know if it was worth $10 for a really great map, an OK map, and one that depends on what players create in it. But I've got them now, so I'm going to play them.

As for the LAN, w/ only 2 in, and 2 "maybe", it's looking like a no-go. Mintz, and anyone else who wants to play on Saturday, we can still join up on XBL.

I don't even know if I'll get my 360 back before then, and something came up anyway, so I doubt I can make it :(

I've been unable to definitely clear my schedule for Saturday night, but if possible I'll be on Live to play the new maps. My favorite right now is Rat's Nest and Standoff is good as well. Foundry with the default layout and 12 people is pure chaos, and not always in the good way. Can't wait to see what people do with it though.
