SpiredArc has truly set a new standard for presumption. Because he could not complete the Mile High Club level using this walk-through, it is the fault of the author of the walk-through. Incredible.

IT WORKED, F YAH!

I followed this to an extent, mixed it up in a few ways, primarily substituting the shotgun with the P90, which drops off the other terrorist in the beginning (the one walking with the guy who drops the shotty.) If you use controlled burst fire rather than that annoying inaccurate spray method it can be more effective given it's clip size. All in all it worked well and I cleared it all in about 20 minutes, if that. I have to say, however, that I would get a good laugh when I would turn too quick and launch a bang into the wall and back into my face.

Nice one it is still getting me but at least I have seen it done I will keep trying. But like Ish I keep dying becuase I'm a muppet and throw flashbangs into my face. (Sorry Ish I didn't mean to call you a muppet).

I tried to do what the first video explained, but I beat it by doing kind of what the 2nd video showed- running and gunning. Throwing flashbangs and just running by the enemies seemed to work best for me. Your buds will shot anybody you miss behind you. I beat it with 3 seconds to spare.

That's kind of how I did it: flash, run, pray...and only stop to reload once.

i feel like suicide! i followed your precise instructions from the first video, did it on my second try, but then forgot about the 'headshot' bit and now have to do it all again - not fair

Did everything you said from the first video and second and still didn't work. Even tried combining the methods. There was one time i had almost gotten but my teamate got in the way and i had to walk around resulting in me failing the moission cuz time ran out.

Ive been yelling and cussing for 2 ddays now, am trying what is on the video, I hate this level and the stupid timer. My neck muscles hurt from yelling so much. Hopefully I can also beat this horrible level.

Ok ive beaten that mission twice in a row now..however i wasnt awarded the Acheivement..also i used the Slow-mo and Bottomless Mag cheat..would that affect me getting the achivement..?

Yes, You can't use cheats to get the achivement. Doit without using cheats.

ARe you sure thats on veteran difficulty?? That looked alot easier than I'm finding it on veteran

well i still cant do it.my team suck, or the last guy goes into last stand and kills me or flashbangs only affect half the enemy.im sick of being shot from behind and flashing myself.this just doesnt wanna do it......

that REALLY dont seem like the veteran difficult. Come on, play the damn thing and watch the video. Not like at all. Those tangos would bang your spine off if passing like that. Seems like hardened-difficult...

ive spent over the last 2 weeks atleast 6 hours playing this, tonight ive got to the end twice, and i humping shot the hostage the first time, and noone mentions you need a goddam headshot, it made me fail because i didnt get a humping headshot. hump.
and it seems easier in the vid because that is the computer version, its easier than 360 and ps3

I did this today on the PC Veteran mode. Took me I think 8 hours. I use the pistol to kill the first 2 guys, flash banged, killed 3 guys in the room with the pistol, then grabed the shot gun. Ran to the right like in the 2nd video, flash bang and reloaded while i moved forward. Then I unloaded the shot gun to get to the top of the stairs. Then i swiched back to the machine gun and finished (similar to 2nd vid) with about 5 sec left. It can be done i bet in 50 sec if your perfect. Also I highly doubt you can run by them. I died many times being shot in the back trying. Posibly you can if there flash banged, and ur team will kill them as they pass behind you.

One other thing I noticed about the 2nd video. If you watch the begining soon as he hits the first guy, where is all the incoming fire? I can't tell you how many times I was killed by incoming fire before I hit the second guy. So im not sure what's going on there, but I know I had a LOT more bullets flying by my head through the entire level than that guy did.

Glad ive got my boots on--i dont know what kind of BS-code these ppl are running but id love to see um try that crap on my machine. i guarentee they are running cheats . If i run past anyone i take one in the back of the head. My (team) is virtualy useless , ive seen them standing 1.5 ft from the guy that shoots me many times. When these guys throw a flashbang the enemy bend over holding their nuts crying for what seems like 30 seconds, when i throw one they bob thier heads for about half a second and rain hell fire on me. these vids bear little resemblance to the game im playing. ive been playing fps games since quake n i havent finished Veteran lvl Mile High Club on PC in about 100 attempts

i followed the 2nd video pretty much with some minor tweaks of my own & after about 3 hours & what seemed liked hundreds of tries, i finally got the achievement with about 2 seconds to spare. i don't know if the 2nd video is on veteran difficulty or not, but the overall strategy is sound & CAN work with a bit of luck. thanx for posting the video!

What I think is that in the first guide the beggining is easy, while in the second, the ending is easy, im going to try to begin using the first video, and end with the second video.

It all looks fairly plausible, though i think it is slightly easier on the PC version. In the second video, the guy doesnt run past too many guys. In fact, i believe he only ran past one. In the area where the hull breaches, those three people were sucked out. the trick, i believe, is to run up to certain areas where the enemies usually come through before they do. If you do that, then they wont come. Also, it also takes quite a bit of luck.

and for the skeptics who think it is on hardened or lower difficulty, on hardened and lower you have 1 minute and 30 seconds rather than just 1 minute.

To all the haters. This is on Veteran, you just have to have some balls and run the damned thing through. Move fast when you move, move with purpose, make ALL of your shots count, learn exactly where to throw your flashbangs, and stop being such pussies. The second video has the more sound strategy and he likes to knife the guy in the bathroom like I do :) Also when I run it I switch to the pistol while running to the bathroom to knife the tango there, then run to the door entrance to the left and pop off two into the head of the T at the other end of the room, throw flash into the entryway at the end of the third room and switch back to the MP5. The rest of the stratagy is exacly the same exept for tossing the last frag into the last room from the third-to-last room. That was a bit of genius there that I didn't notice till I watched this video. You can walk past people if you know where your support is at, your boys will advance behind you till you get to the room where the breech occurs, then they will take point. Trust them and get to those choke points QUICK. You can do this guys and girls, it ain't that hard.

1. You don't need a headshot. You can shoot his leg or his foot a couple of times.

2. It's on Veteran because of the 60 sec time limit.

3. The second video is on a PC. (Note the "Press Enter to switch weapons")

i swear my game is rigged, has to be, i will follow this to the damn letter but yet its as if my damn timer is running fast and im having an issue with flash bangs not actually working when they explode. I throw them into a room but i keep getting gunned down with no explanation. ive tried this mission hundreds of times and this is my last achievement for cod4, really is a savage piss off.

have you noticed at the beggining when you lazer the hatch and fall down, behind you is the hostage room up the stairs blocked by luggage? why cant you just climb up the humping (that is a terrible censor. lol huming who thought of that) bags or at least go a little further through the air ducts to reach that ending room? kinda dumb if they have the technology but they cant climb over bags.........

alright this is BS......i follow the vids EXACTLY as they show.....i can get to the white door at the end with like 4 secconds left but when i get there it drops the time to 0 and blows up the plane...

I have had fun tossing the controller around with my buddies trying to beat this mission. It has been my final achievement for about a month and i am looking forward to trying to beat it using your vids. Thanks to whoever took the time too help those who were thoroughly frustrated with this mission.

AAARRRRGGGGHHHH - I finally did it, I found my own path that works. Knife guy one, shoot guy 2 on the left and then flashbang through the room. Go in and take them all out while recovering... anyways... without explaining it all, I got to the end by *running past the final few guys* and gunning down the two hiding in the last room - only to shoot the boss guy in the leg! SOB! If only I had read some of these goddamn guides first.

It takes a mix of luck and skill in order to complete. Decent walkthrough but I wouldnt bother wasting time picking up new weapons.

Both seem relatively sound strategies, but I got it done by keeping to the right of all the rooms on the lower floor using corners as cover and running to choke points on the upper floor using my bangs. I managed to get away with only using 1 bang on the ground floor, but it was very tricky and took a lot of heashot practice. :P
