I'm halfway through the last level. Started at 10am on Normal and have been going pretty solid since.

How would you rate the single player on a scale of 1-to-10, rapture?

It's better than the H1 campaign. That would be a "10". It's HALO. Just HALO.

I'm not going to say that it's a revolutionary campaign experience. It's Halo like we know it. And it's a lot like H1. I think it's a better campaign than H1.

This, coming from you, makes me more excited about the game than any advertisement Microsoft has created.

Cutscenes at the end of the game.

Heads-up. There are two cutscenes that roll after the credits. The last one is only accessible if you beat the game on Legendary. You can skip ahead to the last part of the last level on Legendary if you've beaten the game already. (BTW: You will not get credit for beating the game on Legendary unless you play 100% of each level). So, watch the credits and hang around.

I think the last cutscene will have fans wondering for years. Bungie knows what they are doing.

Are you referring to multiplayer in general or matchmaking?

Indeed, but let's remember that this is simply the final episode of the trilogy regarding the events surrounding the protagonist Master Chief, although of course that doesn't mean there won't be other games in the Halo canon. Perhaps the Halo movie (if it ever came out) would take place where the story left off at the end of Halo 3 (not saying that it's a cliff-hanger).

I'll write more about it later. But right now, H3 MP is H2 but bigger. Did you like H2? Did you like H2 on the big maps? If you did, then you'll like H3.

Because the maps are bigger (the beta maps were among the smallest) I'm not liking H3 Team Slayer. I'm not going to like some objective games.

Been playing a really creative game of Rocket Race on Mongooses with infinite ammo and health. But that gets old. I want to revert back to TS. But, would would be a fan of TS on large maps.

Bungie playlists come off and online. Haven't been in matchmaking yet.

Bungie said they were going to address the fact that they needed small symmetrical maps. Also I would wait till' we have a decent size and good group to play with, and you could probably change map size through forge by blocking off areas.

Nope. Forge doesn't work like that. You can't add to or subtract from the geometry of the map.

I meant putting down the giant crate things or the road blocks? Depending on how many you could put on the map you could change it a little, but I guess we will have to wait and see what everyone does when its released.

So, Middy/Oc/rap, have your plans changed for the evening of the 24th?

That's what I thought. But you can only put a limited amount of crates in the maps. Even then, you can move the crates with grenades and power weapons.

My plans haven't changed. I'll still be at Gamestop to get my legendary editions. It'll be a lot of fun.

I hear being on TV has its perks... just watch out for crazy fans and paparazzi afterwards!

I'll be there. Gotta pick up my other copy as well. Plus I want to see the circus that will be gamestop on H3's release.

Not to mention Dan (not Satterfield) will be there. ;)
