Bachelor Party for FoulBreed

On Saturday Sep 29th at 7 PM there will be a gathering to commemorate FoulBreed's upcoming marriage. We will be eating at Wings on Airport Road. Significant others are not invited. Leave them at home, perhaps to knit a sweater or cook a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Please forward this on to people who will want to come but I don't have email addresses for. Contact me with any questions.

Could move FB's to Saturday if there are many conflicts. He arbitrarily picked Friday instead of Sat.

Man, this had to be on the night when Breaking Benjamin and 3 Days Grace play in H'ville, didn't it?! Oh well, bachelor parties are more fun, and I haven't hung out with Ryan in a long time. What's the plan after Wings?
There is no hard plan after Wings. We'll play it by ear.
I decided not to go to the FSU game, so I'll be able to make it.

Regarding the BYOS afterwards: Considering that we're eating at 7pm, what are the plans for setup. Will we be just leaving our equipment in the car, or will there be a quick setup time slot available beforehand.
I think BYOS thing sounds good. I plan on being there.
@Oculus: I think, considering the kind of LAN we are talking about, it would make sense just to leave it in the car. I am sure Midnight will have a router or switch up and ready for us when we get there, and as long as I have a place to plug in to a power socket, that is all I need. If everyone has a similar set up, then it shouldn't take more than a few minutes for everyone to get hooked up.

I'd say leave it in the car. No need to drive to my house then back to Wings. However, if anyone desires to do that, my door is open. I don't think it'll take very long to get set up. Everyone sets up his own stuff. I will set up the switch (hopefully EA will come and bring his 16 port, otherwise someone needs to bring a 4-port to link with my 4-port). Should go pretty smoothly.
I wasn't asking what made sense for Slayer. My question was whether or not there will be a quick time slot available to setup if we preferred. If not, I'm good to go. If so, I will be taking advantage of that.
Yeah, no problems there. I'll be home all day Saturday until I go to Wings.
woops, looks like you answered my question right before I posted mine.
Considering my distaste for dealing with my insurance company on any sort of claim. I'd prefer not to have my equipment viewable through my vehicle windows and out of my sight. It's actually physically easier to bring the tv since it's got audio built in. I'll setup beforehand then.
btw: I'm not being paranoid. I have had my cars broken into multiple times. One of those times was in a very nice neighborhood.
Sorry, I was just trying to think through the process. I thought you were asking what the best way to do set up was because of what time we would be getting there, and I was just saying if everyone has a similar set up to mine, then it shouldn't take long. I thought you were thinking about the time factor... as I was.

Your right, I did bring the time factor into it. I should have been more clear.
Just found out this today. Rapture told me while out for a walk. I wish I'd known about it earlier though, Christina's mom is in town and they are going to the jam, while I have Sakura duty.
By the way, who the heck is FoulBreed? I don't know who that is...
Had a great time with Fou1breed and everyone else Sat. night. Football games and food at Wing's was great (War Eagle!), and some fun games of H3 at Jeff's house. It was interesting to get things setup, and I think we got a feel for how a LAN of bigger magnitude, i.e. THX B'day LAN, will be. Some of the networking issues may be easier to resolve this coming Saturday.
