COD4 Beta Tonight Friday Sep 7th

I plan on being a hermit this weekend so I'll have a lot of time to play COD4 Beta. Would be awesome to have a team of 6 THX'ers for the team deathmatch games. I think we could start to develop some in-game communication skills and better understand landmarks if we could have a team of only THX'ers, thereby removing mindless chatter that is inevitable with the XBL crowd. We could also focus on class-based gameplay. For instance, EA seems to like playing as a sniper. If I run with him using a rifleman kit and protect him from the tunnel-vision that sniping brings then we could be an effective team. We could also ensure someone on the 6-man team has an RPG at all times for taking down enemy helos. The buddy pairs concept may work well in this game, as I think it does in GoW. I'm interested in developing these ideas further and would like input from some folks who have played the Beta for longer than I.

I'll probably start playing around 7 PM. J-up when you can.

Rank is indeed raised. Looks like Gunnery Sergeant I or II is the new limit.

I tried playing with a sniping kit and I hated it. I got literally half as many kills as I normally do, however unlocking "achievements" for each weapon is a lot of fun.
