The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.
Today I received a check from "Microsoft XBOX" reimbursing me for the repairs done on my 360. Along with this was a note which goes as follows:
"Dear Xbox Repair Customer:
Upon further review of internal repair data, it has come to our attention that the Xbox 360 console you previously paid to repair is qualified for a free repair. Attached is a check to reimburse you for this matter.
We apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions, please call 1-800-4MY-XBOX.
Best Regards,
Xbox Customer Service"
I have to say, coming home after a long day of work and school to a $139 reimbursement check isn't bad. I think this is a perfect amount to put towards Halo 3 and accessories.
Thanks Microsoft! Took a while, but at least you came through.

The same thing happened to me; however, that was the EXACT day both my battery and main relay went in my car ($90 self-repair). I'm amazed M$ actually gave back the money, but I'm not complaining!
