Wow looks awesome, you can tell by those videos that the graphics are much better than the beta. I can't wait!!!!

The visuals have been improved, no doubt, but I don't find them to be as visually impressive as Halo and Halo 2 were when they first came out.

I'm not so sure about that. From what I have recently seen of H3, the graphics seem to be pretty impressive... and that is looking at a lesser quality vid. I am pretty optimistic on this issue, I think I will be happy with H3's look.

The gameplay, on the other hand, is what I am worried about. Based on the recent Wired article, I have some real concerns about this side of the game. However, I am, again hopeful that things will turn out for the best.

I am much more guarded this time around in letting myself get too excited about Halo 3. Halo 2 was somewhat of a let down, and I don't want to find myself feeling the same way about H3.

Just to be the asshole of a contrarian that I am, I will subscribe to any magazine aside from Game Informer that gives Halo 3 less than a 9/10 rating.

I'm not saying that the graphics are butt rape ugly, it's just that I thought they could be better. I could mention a few games that have already come out that I find look superior to Halo 3 (although this is a matter of opinion).

Wha? HALO 3 isn't going to be a glitchy third-person shooter with small maps? You are kidding me.

HALO 3's MP gameplay will be essentially like HALO 2's MP gameplay. However, the campaign will be light-years betters. I don't think anyone should expect H3 multiplayer to be much better than H2. They should expect the campaign to be better for a lot of reason.

Yes, I know Gears of War doesn't have a sixteen player-limit and it's maps are small in comparison to other games, but that's hardly a bad thing. Gears of War works well with just eight players. Smaller maps can make for faster-paced gameplay. Just look at Counter-Strike. And don't look me in the eye and say that the Halo games have not had their share of gameplay-altering glitches and exploits.

Agreed! I have great hope for the campaign.
