Xbox 360 Price Cut; Halo-Themed Xbox 360 Priced

Starting Wednesday, the Core system will retail for $279 (a $20 price cut), the Premium will retail for $349 (a $50 price cut), and the Elite system will be available for $449 (a $30 price cut).

The Halo-themed Xbox 360 is coming in September for $399, and the Halo 3 wireless headset will debut at $59.99.

Xbox 360 Elite was $479.99 now $449.99
Xbox 360 System was $399 now $349.99
Xbox 360 Core was $299.00 now $279.00

Plus, the Halo 3 Special Edition Console price has been announced as $399.99

I think if you originally opted to go for the Premium, now's a good time to start thinking about scrounging an extra fifty dollars or so and go after the Elite.

I am Elite now. Ordering my hdd xfer cable from MS today.

The H3 360 just isn't my style for some reason. And $60 for a wireless headset seems very steep - especially when every person I know that has one has had problems with the headset. I don't think I'm going to own that H3 hardware.

I like the wireless headset. It's not bad.

But yeah, I'm not a big fan of this ugly Olive-green color scheme with Halo 3-themed products.

It's too bad that it's ugly, because with HDMI, a standard 20 GB HD, and a lower price than the elite it's got everything I need.
