Job and other fun related items :o

Alright, most of you know I work the extra fun job at Books a Million. Now, while it's a really easy job, it's not the most fun, especially with the incredible wages it pays and the idiocy of the management. What I'm looking for, is a little business, like a family thing where everyone is cool with everyone else, not anything too easy, but not ridiculously difficult either. Preferably in Huntsville somewhere. Fairly easy schedule, so if I need to take 4-5 days off for an event somewhere I can. Wages aren't an issue as long as I make at least what I make now, obviously preferably a bit higher. Not asking for handouts or for someone to look for me, just if you happen to know something or someone.

Anyone got a room for rent or know someone that does? :) Gotta love living with people who don't understand basic English and whatnot. That and people that have no respect for other's privacy or comfort. People that make gigantic messes and don't clean anything up, just leave crap lying around, turning off the AC in the middle of the day so it gets up in the 90s inside the house. Oh yeah, and one of the worst electrical wiring jobs I've seen in a long time. Looks good on the outside, but inside the walls is terrible.

Last thing and I'm done for the night, I promise :). It's a long shot, longer than the first two, but does anyone have a vehicle they want to part with for a low price? The Monte Carlo will be fine after a little work, but 10mpg premium is painful.

There's a bunch of family-owned businesses on Jordan. There's a bookstore by Beauregard's that might need people and seems to fit your bill.

That aside, I was temping up until last week when my last job ended. I need something thats gonna last longer than a month at this point. other than that, I think I am better off, so go check that out.
