I'm creating this thread to keep up with Mass Effect info. I'm highly anticipating this game, and I'd like to get you guys interested in it, too. The story and the setting have me on the edge of my seat. It doesn't hurt that Bioware also made Dragon Age, Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire.

Mass Effect: Revelation
This book is the prequel to the game. It's better than Halo: Ghosts of Onyx. It introduces you to the characters, the world, the tense political relations between the species, and has a lot of action thrown into the mix. I soaked up every word, and I recommend it to everyone. Here's a synopsis:
In MASS EFFECT: REVELATION, commander and Alliance war hero David Anderson investigates the remains of a top secret military research station; smoking ruins littered with bodies and unanswered questions. Partnered with a rogue alien agent he can't trust and pursued by an assassin he can't escape, Anderson battles impossible odds on uncharted worlds to uncover a sinister conspiracy.

I hope this makes some more Thexers interested in Mass Effect! It's the book that really hooked me...
The book is really awesome.
The book is really awesome. I finished it, and I liked it better than the newest Halo book. I think it's definitely worth reading, even if you're not interested in the Mass Effect universe. If anyone is interested, I'll be happy to let you borrow it.
I've been watching this game
I've been watching this game for awhile. I think it's going to be pretty good I just wish they'd give us a smaller window as to when they're planning on releasing it. Torr3nt/Nutsack and I bought and read the book a couple weeks ago it was really good. Like with the Halo books I couldn't stop reading it, so I finished it the day after I bought it. So if anyone wants to borrow it and wants to come by my house and pick it up feel free.
