HALO 3 ARG beginning? Meet Adjutant Reflex.

I think AdjutantReflex is a monitor, like 343GS. Except I think AR is 16807AR (7^5). I say that because he talks about "last incident" (Halo firing?) and that Reclaimer data is classified. Of course, he could be another AI, because his name is "Adjutant," which could mean "assistant," and AIs are essentially assistants.

The Cortana letters ended up being broken down pretty thoroughly and eventually it was determined who originated them. That was in 1999 with a much smaller following. I'm sure Bungie learned a lot from that experience and will make AR harder to crack, but with a much larger following it might be done.

@Mintz, the name Adjutant Reflex matches the format of monitor names so you may be right. It would seem if he even knows what a reclaimer is then he probably wouldn't be an AI, but a monitor. Wouldn't his quote imply the last Halo firing, which would give him the name 117649 (7^6) which would be the monitor of the 7th Halo?

I Love Bees started when someone noticed the ilovebees.com URL hidden in a HALO 2 video. That video was released in the month of July before the release of HALO 2 (remember watching the HALO 2 trailer at I, Robot?). HALO 2 was later released in November.

HALO 3 will be released in September. This is about the time frame that an ARG would be launched.

I Love Bees was actually for two sets of people. One set was for the HALO fans as a clue was hidden in the H2 trailer. The other clue was sent through the mail to Alternate Reality Gamers - folks that play ARG like we play video games.

Anyone think we'll see a new HALO 3 promotional video released tomorrow that will also launch an Alternate Reality Game?

I wonder if ARG'ers will be given any clues soon.

ILB was a huge success for Bungie. The ILB team got several awards for their work. Of course, it raised a lot of awareness for HALO 2 which is the point of the viral marketing.

The supposed messages that Adjutant Reflex are sending fit the mold of a monitor or AI.

At one time, hundreds of people per minute were reading this thread. It's still very active in the blog-o-sphere.

Lyca and Bungie are no longer affiliated in any way according to an old post by a Bungie employee. We can safely assume that this still holds true.

Sending a FR to AdjutantReflex says "The profile does not exist on XBL." Sending a FR to "YouveBeenFooled" turns up the avatar/motto as AR was previously, leading me to believe that AdjutantReflex changed his name via XBL to YouveBeenFooled.

What sucks the most is I had a red vs blue message as my voice mail (badly recorded i might add). Funniest thing is I changed that voicemail to another red vs blue clip from a video about halo 3 just to screw with the people who don't get the retractions or who's calls i have not been able to answer.

I called xbox customer support to see if they could link me to bungie before I found out the gamertag was a joke and the customer service guy got a good laugh about it too.

The phrase "keepers of the flame" in the email stands out in particular, but I've been unable to find any relevant information linked to the Halo universe. There are a few books with that title involving everything from witches to spirituality to Amnesty International to Warcraft. Ideas?

I don't know how to prove this to any of you but I am 98% positive that the whole "\\UPDATED ARCHIVE INFORMATION PENDING REVIEW BY INSTALLATION SYSTEMS\" was on the Halo3.com sight a long time ago (month(s)). I remember surfing the web at woirk one day and found the sight for the first time. Several of the weapons, vehicles, characters, etc. had this same message. Now that I'm writing this, I am 100% positive of it. I'm just catching up to this ARG thing, (been busy with work) but I thought this might help. No point chasing ghosts (no pun intended). Also, I solved the stupid 7449.com puzzle but have noticed that no one is discussing it anymore. Has it been proven to be unrelated?

Based on the screen cap of the Master Chiefs face plate from halo3.com and the description of the stasis world (the inside-out world at the end of The Ghost's of Onyx book, sorry i don't remember it's name), that make's me wonder if it is actually that devices monitor/AI (the giant one on earth). Thoughts?

Is the ARK the ship that the chief is on? or is it the structure that is in the earth, because both of them fit, i am more inclined to think the thing in the earth is it (see my last post).

The clock on http://206.16.223.65/ is a little tricky to keep track of, but the numbers break down nice and evenly. The two fastest count-down fields(presumably second and minute) both count down from 113. It starts at 113, but it does not count down sequentially. The pattern is 113, 112, 111, 110, 106, 105, 104, 103, 102, 101, 100, 66, 65, 64, 63, 62, 61, 60, 56 ... and so forth. This counting system applies for all four of the counting boxes. Since it takes one minute to count down the entire first box, the second box takes one hour to count down. The third box starts at 32, but the established counting system means that there are a total of 24 digits to count through. As such, the third box is hours. The last box is therefore days, and since it was at 6 when i began to observe it, there are no more than 6 days till the end of the count. By my estimates, the countdown will end Thursday the 21st at midnight. Since I was bored, I decided to work this all for fun. Feel free to check behind me.

ok i am going to speculate here, the symbol may just be a blueprint for the structure as seen from above, this is what the N'Chala guy was drawing.

i am going to report back in a few minutes because i think i just happened upon something important.

After going through this comic over a few times thing are starting to pop out. Here is a list.

-This website has a rating for the game which makes it seem like this isn't the new Halo comic but something made directly for Halo 3.

-In the comic the aliens are working on the forerunner structure depicted in the Halo 3 trailer. Watch the making of the Halo 3 trailer because they also say there that the covenant found a forerunner structure "deep in the earth" as in the comic. Also they are building machines for themselves.

-You can kind of see that N'Chala is standing on the same cliff that Master Chief is on when he first sees the forerunner structure.

-Now most important of all is the last page, it is interactive, try the following for your self.

-Drag the first frame to the left, this reveals "206.".

-On the second frame continue clicking until the numbers "16." and "223." are revealed. It should show up as "16./223.".

-Drag the third and final frame to reveal the number "65". This also shows more of something surrounding the symbol (possibly more that is to be revealed later).

-As we know this all add together to be the IP Address "206.16.223.65"

-I don't know what to make of the "AWO" on the bottom right of the last frame other than the artist's name.

The flood don't seem to be technologicaly advanced enough to be able to extract data (let alone relevant data), from an AI. I'm not sure if it means anything, but if you skip every 5 words of the SOTA website starting with home and then going to mission, some strange phrases pop out. It could just be coincidence and the pattern drops out at evidence, but raw, it starts out with "Well, Don't out this" which may lead to a clue. Then, the phrase "None leads the extraterrestrial head" shows, which may be a reference to the Fludd (gravemind is the head of the Fludd), or a new foe (None is shown as a proper noun here). Then, there's "For society and anti-government sci-fi is information to history". Dark stuff, but I don't know if it's relevent. The last coherent phrase is "Gracious are accomplished architects, authors on growing knowledge". Maybe a reference to the forerunners and/or the 'builders' in the comic? Again, it may be coincidence, but I thought it was worth posting. If you want to check, start with the word 'Well' on the homepage, count five words, then take the word after the fifth. Repeat, and you should come up with the same phrases I did. After the knowledge, it seems to break down into gibberish, random words.

When you go to 7499.com, if you click the other links in the correct order it starts to fill up the green circles on the bottom. So far it appears to be a system thats based on choosing the largest or smallest number that labels the link. When you finally finish getting all the green dots, you email a code to an email that you see next to the code. The shape is similar but the images on MC visor are warped due to it being bent, even in the illustration.

Beyond that they are both roughly diamond shaped, with 3 points of light.

But the images in the comic have 1 point on top and 2 lower down.

looks like microsoft has kicked things into higher gear, the countdown has sped up (good observation) obviously something has threatened the AR maybe another AI? Not necessarily. The expire date is just to specify when your computer needs to download the file from the server again instead of loading it from cache. It probably has no significance, but you never know with Bungie.
