Master Chief's Face

Well, it looks like you can see Master Chief's face behind his visor in Halo 3! It's dark, but you can easily make out the shape of his eyes (including a scar), and his nose. What does this mean for Halo 3? Will we be able to see Master Chief's face? Will Bungie alienate everyone who already had their own opinion of the Chief's looks? Is that even Master Chief, or is it a surviving Spartan? We'll all find out on September 25.

You're jumping the gun. These spartan bipeds you fight as roaming around in multiplayer matches technically shouldn't be considered canon to the Halo universe, considering how all of them are dead with the exception of Master Chief. I don't call the spartan models in multiplayer "Master Chief" like some people do because there is only one Master Chief. That's like having all the guys in gym class gathered at the basketball court and calling them "Roberts." But whatever, I'm just arguing over semantics. :)

There are more surviving Spartan II's. Have you read the books, specifically the most recent one ("Ghosts of Onyx" I think)?
