There's a PM module for the site. We don't have it active right now. Oc? Want to activate it? Seems like it was causing trouble at one time.
You can click on someone's name. If they want to receive email from you, they will have to enable the "contact" feature. Just click on "contact" and they'll get an email.

i didn't see a pm module currently installed. that's just from a quick glance though, i'll be able to look at it when i've got more time. But i did see the 'contact'. maybe that's what your talking about. I think shyzza was talking about the old type of pm's where you can see if you've got messages when you log into the site. that way people can communicate without checking their email.

You can get email when you get a new PM.
Go into your account and under "Private Message Settings" select how often you want to get email notification of PM's.
