Noticed over on HBO that Falling Leaf has a software that supposedly will let you play H2V and Shadowrun on Windows XP. Not due out until July, but here's hoping, 'cause I'm not upgrading any time soon.

I would be very surprised if this isn't buggy. I would also be surprised if this works with Games for Windows - Live.

Hope it does because it will sell more copies of H2PC and Shadowrun.

Virtual PC video does not support pixel shader 2.0, required for Halo 2.

p.s. Funny, you look at the known xBox stats, then at the Vista Halo 2 sys req, don't you think something funny is going on?

I have 1GB of ramm,a 6200OC 256MB vid card and ya thats AGP,a ADM64 3700+ CPU and

CPU:3700+
VID:6200OC 256MB
Ramm:1GB
mobo:asrock dual sata 2

the game runs fine on low I probably could up it to medium but don't have the time right now, it loads faster than D3 and other games but slower than the Xbox,all in all why did MS take the low road on this?

first few levels play nicely,getting a 7600 512MB card in soon well post results then :X

BTW virtual PC wont even run 3d on 98,if you are running non 3D stuff it dose well.(yes I want 98 so I can run some classic games :P )

dirtyJ (or anyone else) have you had any success trying this yet? I noticed on fallingleafsystems.com that their pre-alpha version of Alky for Games is out, and that it will supposedly work for H2PC and Shadowrun on top of XP.

I'm thinking about giving it a try...
