Anyone still watch Lost?

I have really gotten into it since watching season one and wondering if any of you who do watch it have any thoughts on this season? To me it seems whenever Desmond has a bigger role in an episode it seems to be much better than any of the other lost folks or any of the "others." This week looks like he will have a good part to play as it heads through the final 4 episodes to the season finale, which I am pretty excited about to see how they will set it up for Season 4.

I've never missed an episode. Season 3 has turned out to be awesome. The last 4-5 episodes are really deep.

I think Desmond could be the most important character of them all.

How many of you still watch Lost? Ever since I got through season 1 I have been pretty hooked and excited to see what happens this season. Only a few episodes to go and they have started finally giving more insight into the "others" and why they are on the island. What i dont understand and I doubt anyone else does either is what the heck is that big black cloud of smoke that kills people? Obviously it is some sort of security system or something to prevent people from certain areas maybe? I dont know. Also, I feel like Desmond is the best character on the show now, every time they have an episode based around him it feels fresh and tends to leave you really wanting more of his story. "Flashes Before Your Eyes" and "Catch-22" were 2 of the best episodes this season IMO and Desmond just so happend to be the main guy in both. I hope to see more of his role in the coming episodes and look forward to seeing how they will set it up for Season 4.

Desmond's backstories really make me feel for the guy and whats happend in his life so far.

I'm backlogged by four episodes and don't really make the time to watch them like I used to. I guess I'll check them out if they've been progressively better.
