Whoa, cool. Marvel is making a comic book based on HALO. The price will be $3.99. It will be in stores on 2007-07-18. See the first cover:

I'm looking forward to it.
I was never a comic reader, but I'll collect and read every issue of this. I know FoulBreed is a comic book fan so he'll probably be stoked when he sees this.

I'll be getting my stuff from Haven Comics near Slaughter and HWY-72.
I suppose I'll do the same, since I am ignorant of any other comic book stores.
The deep is a good store for comicbooks too. I may pick up a copy depending on how bored I am.
I've got a friend that owns the Haven Comics store. I'll gladly give him my business.
I'm going to ask him about "special editions" that he may be able to get through his channels. I'll report back if there's anything to report.
If he's a friend of yours, he's a friend of mine; I'll probably buy every comic from there as well.
This looks like it would suit my attention span quite nicely. I just might get it.

Tell him to pull out all the back-stock as well. When I say I want to buy every comic, I want to buy every comic.
He can set you up an "box" and he can start collecting the comics for you. He can reserve them.
He actually does that for people? That's really convenient.
I spoke with my friend this weekend. He's totally down for getting however many copies we want for those of you that want to buy from him.
I asked him about special editions and different covers. He said he'll try to supply those as well if they are available. Sweet.
If there's any interest in some kind of "group buy", let me know and I'll pass the word along to him.

"Group buy"? Does that imply a discount? Either way I'm down.
No discount that I know of. I could ask, but we are only talking about a few bucks anyway.
