Dear Ubisoft and 2k Games

I am eagerly awaiting the release of Assassin's Creed and Bioshock. I even check your websites frequently for updates. Could you please humor me by updating them once in a while? 2kGames, I really like your BioShock flash site, especially the "enter rapture" option where I can learn about businesses inside the city. So far two businesses have info available with four left to go. Unfortunately, it's been like that since late 2006. Ubi, how about a release date, some in-game footage...something? If these games are going to be released this year then it might behoove both of you to start creating some hype, because I want hype, I'm looking for hype--and I just can't find any.

I figure any hype you can pull out of thin air on your own might be just as good or better than the hype I've read elsewhere on the internet ;) But on a serious note, it looks like the formula for getting the community involved in a game before it's released has now been set by other game companies. I hope more of em start to do the same.

Except for Bungie, game devs rarely update their websites with the juicy info about their games (at least with the games that I'm interested in).

I suggest you check out Shacknews.com and Bluesnews.com. You might be able to find your hype there. (It looks like there's not much out there for A's Creed, though). I think those gaming sites a lot better than joystiq, X360fb, Kotaku, blog crap. Their RSS feeds are pretty skimpy, though.

I don't know much about Bioshock, but I am surprised that it won't have multiplayer.
