Just got back from a Blue Man Group concert at the VBC. Awesome concert. More later.

The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.
Update: The Hushed Casket, Midnight, and some other THXers will be on Penn and Teller's: Bullshit! show on Showtime in early 2009 defending video gamers in show about video games and violence. Stay tuned for details.
OK.
Two people came in our building today painted from head to toe completely blue. Hair and all. It turns out they were sons of one of the people that works on our floor. They were going to the show tonight and had come to see (embarrass) their mom at work. Imagine my surprise when I walk around the corner and see two blue guys standing there looking at me. I swear I couldn't tell if they were the actual blue men or not. Word quickly spread around the water fountain that they were not the real thing though.
It was a great show. Sold out, I believe. It was in the arena and there wasn't a bad seat in the house.
The concert was a full audio and video experience. Video played as much a role as audio. The crowd actively participated with the band and DJ and had a minor role in almost every performance.
I was really impressed. There's something special about being around thousands of people focused on the same thing...doing the same thing.
Monica and I went. We had floor seats up front (section 1). It was pretty neat. I wasn't that stoked about the DJ, but the live band was real cool. Everyone in the audience seemed pretty into it. H'ville represented well.
I was sitting just off the floor to the right of the stage. I'm surprised I didn't see you, Brick.
Mike Relm opened for Blue Man Group, and I loved his recreation of the "O-Face" scene in Office Space! The theme for the concert was "How to Have a Rock Concert," and it was a hilarious theme, especially acted out by the Blue Men.
btw, I know the girl that had marshmallows regurgitated on her new hat. Her name is Mercedes and she goes to my school. She said her cat tried to eat her "souvenir" when she got home.
I sat on the floor near the sound system. A blue man stood next to me for about a minute during the show. He was wearing Right Guard. Prolly has a pretty good gamerscore.
Hmm, surprised I didn't see you either. I thought I saw you driving in to the parking garage, but I shrugged it off.
They're not men. They're beyond men.
You are surprised that you did not see me in a pool of 6000 people? Too much TV for you.
It was probably because your gamertag didn't show up above your head.
hehe, that's pretty good. Showing your Halo 2 roots there.
My roots are in Halo 1, but it was a Halo 2 joke.
