The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.
THX should have stories discussing gaming-related issues with two opposite sides. Why? Because it'd be fun to read.
Here's what I'm thinking:
Pick an issue
There are many things to debate on in the gaming world. I've listed a few below. If you have other ideas, post them below and I'll add it.
Do graphics really matter? - Mintz and ?
How successful will the PS3 be in the future?
How does hype affect a game's development?
Is Jack Thompson really such a bad guy?
Pick a Partner
Once you've chosen (or made up) an issue, just say so below and I'll add your name next to the issue (like I did with mine). When two THXers (or anyone equally cool) are listed under one issue, the pair will write a story arguing each side of the issue. For example, one person will say Jack Thompson is the sweetest guy, while the other person will say he's a jerk. Who picks which side is up to the partners. You don't have to agree with the side you are stuck with.
Send me the transcript
You and your partner will coordinate and write each opinion. It can be as long or short as you want, but try to keep it medium-sized. Once each of you have finalized your separate arguments, send them to me and I'll spruce it up with pictures and format it for the web.

Get notified of game nights and important THX announcements via the hushedcasket Twitter account. You can get the messages on your cell phone, through email, Facebook, and many other ways. Here's how it goes down.
I think this is a great
I think this is a great idea. I hope some THX'ers step up and participate.
It is a great idea, but I'm
It is a great idea, but I'm really tired of arguing.
Hahah, nice try, Midnight.
Hahah, nice try, Midnight. It's not quite arguing, it's just presenting two different sides of a topic.
You keep telling yourself
You keep telling yourself that. Theory and practicality are different. Practically, this will result in me arguing with someone about an asinine topic.
hrmph
Like this argument? I sense the potential for irony.
