We want your HALO 3 screenshots here. Add yours.
The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.
I rolled through Burger King to have it my way today. I noticed that I could get one of the three XBOX 360 "arcade" games with my combo meal for $1.99. I figure that's a good deal. 1 cent per gamerscore point.
I chose Pocketbike Racer. It looks like of like Mario Cart and supports 4 players online.
I'll write what I think about it later.
Anyone else got any of the BK games?

Yeah, Mintz. You would know about value meals. :)
X-Ray has pocketbike racer or whatever. It looks well done for $1.99...

Of course I know about value meals! What the... who doesn't know about 'em? One of my favorite parts of my childhood. Plus, I have nieces and nephews.
Yeah! You tell him, Mintz.

I actually played Sneak King
I actually played Sneak King while at my Dad's house a couple weeks ago. The intro cut scene and game literature are quite possibly the creepiest thing I've ever seen. However, the game was mediocre, and better than I expected. I thought it was interesting that all the characters in the game mumble like Kenny from South Park, presumably because they didn't want to pay voice actors. Points weren't easy, but they weren't super tough either.

Who's got Pocketbike Racer? It's a ton of fun.

I think it'd probably be a good idea to pick up all three with the reduced price. It'll probably be the cheapest 600 Achievement points you can get, not counting the time investment.
Mintz, I would personally
Mintz, I would personally not consider Sneak King worth the time to get the 200 points. I played for about an hour and got 30 points.
Who said getting the
Who said getting the achievements was easy? I've played Pocketbike Racer for over 5 hours and have 75 points...and I was working to get them.
Not easy
I certainly did not say "easy," I said cheapest, monetarily.
Pocketbike Racer
This game is a blast. At $4 (or $2 with a combo meal) this has to be one of the best arcade games out there. Dollar for dollar, surely it is.
Last night I got all of the single player achievements. I've only got a few multiplayer achievements to get, which I doubt I ever will unless some of you get the game.
I think this game has a lot of replay value as it offers 4 (5 if you could the time trails) different gametypes on 3 different classes (50cc, 100cc, and 150cc) with about 7 different bikes in each class about 8 different characters to play.
Oh, and it also supports online multiplayer on XBOX Live with leaderboards and TruSkill rankings.
Achievement points
What do Achievement points get you?
Nothing, really. In case
Nothing, really. In case you didn't know, each Live enabled game will have achievement points for you to get. 1000 on the major titles. 200 on the arcade titles.
For the developer, the achievements are a way to add replay value to a game. For the gamer, it's a way to show how much of a game you have conquered. For instance, beating CoD2 on it's hardest setting will enable you to get 1000 achievement points. Other games let you earn gamerscore points by killing someone with a weapon a certain amount of times or catching "big air" on a jump.
When you track someone's games that they've played, you can see how many points they have gotten. Someone that's gotten 1000 points in CoD2 means that gamer put in some hard work and played through some tough situations.
Conversely, you can get 1000 achievement point in some games, like NBA2K6, in a matter of minutes, which really breaks the system.
(Gah. I've got to fix the quotes again.)
Sounds like a cool game. I
Sounds like a cool game. I don't really eat at BK, but I might stop to buy this game if I'm near one. $4 is pretty paltry for a decent arcade game.
