Anyone know anything about SLI performance? I was thinking about doing two GeForce 8800GTS (G92) in SLI, but I'm wondering if I'm better off just getting the newer GTX series which would probably only cost about 20-30 more than buying two 8800GTS's.
And other than that, I'm stuck on going with the core 2 quad vs core 2 duo.. just can't make my mind up, say OCing the core 2 duo at 3.8-4.0GHz easy vs the quad at 3.0GHz, saving $30 bucks isn't much of an issue but I can't see the quads being that much better at this point in time. By the time they are used in multi-thread gaming, they will have better chips and the Q6600 would be worthless. Guess I will do some more research today during my free time.
