I'm all for PC LANs. And I'm down with Halo PC.

I'd like to see more than 4 people at the LAN. If there's not more than 4, then I guess jay's right. Why not play H1 on the XBOX...especially if people are going to be playing with controllers.

But, KB/M is where it is at...each person with their own screen at insane resolutions and framerates...and headphones.

And, it would be cool just to test out the LAN experience. So, I'm down with whatever happens (Erin's OOT this weekend).

Gah...as much as THX likes CoD4, we could LAN CoD4 without the problems found on the 360; mainly...you can't LAN CoD4 on the 360. And the console users could use controllers if they wanted. Custom games, maps, etc. Lagless CoD4 on LAN would rock!

I think modern laptops will play Halo PC just fine. In the summer of 2004, it was running fine on Centrino laptops back then. This 4 years later.

I'm guessing there are several people with computers capable of playing the game. I can count 9 computers that will be able to play it off the top of my head.

So, count me in. I plan on bringing 1 BYOC.
