Spore looks like an

Spore looks like an interesting idea on the game play department. On the other hand, I don't think it is going to appeal to hardcore gamers which is kind of the grasp of the whole player controlled universe. If the gamers are not playing the game, then the game will slowly vanish away. I'm interested in playing it to see what it's all about, but I don't see it pulling me away from other games that will be on the market.
