The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.

I just found out that
I just found out that there's a 21 day free trial (instead of 14) of EVE if you download it through Steam. Here's the link

Quake has been one of those that I keep going back to every few years. I love it because it brings back memories of the summer between high school and college where I played a lot of it. I love that game.. though it makes me want to yack (motion sickness) at times. Besides Quake I've been wanting to check out UTIII.
I'm going to check out TF2 soon. Graphics card is on the way to XFX to get RMA'd hopefully that will end up well.
Your right though, I'd only start a THX Corporation if we had enough people to make it worth our while, otherwise we may as well join a larger corporation with some actual resources. I'd say, with 10 people, you'd be close to starting your own. Until then I've found a couple of EVE corporations online with a "training period" that looks to be right up my alley. Low commitment, low pressure, just teaching some n00bs the ropes.
My time is precious, so I won't be going hardcore, just playing enough to get into the game and enjoy it. I'll probably end up buying a month and seeing how it turns out. If I like it, I'll continue... so far I'm liking it a bit. It's one of those games you couldn't possibly implement on a console.
