Alright mens this just happened to me. I am fixing to call up a lawyer or something because i have been going online and finding hundereds after hundreds of people with the exact same problem, microsoft extended the warantee for the ring of death which means that you are having a hardware failure, but the disc drive going out is not covered by that. Seems like microsoft is heading for another class action lawsuits. Please e-mail me your stories at xboxcomplaints@yahoo.com and let me know how many of you are really out there with this problem.
