You may be right about Tom
You may be right about Tom Morello. However, he did wear an altered Boy Scouts of America uniform for the video, and he has a large red star on a black background sewn above the right breast. I can appreciate him as a guitarist no matter his political views, but that does indicate he might have been more of a participant than you think. It also might be his favorite shirt and the star is something his 6-year old niece made for him in kindergarten. Who knows. Regardless, I too always viewed Zach as the most politically driven of RATM.
I simply did not like the direction Chris Cornell took Audioslave. I love Tom Morello's guitar work, and without him they'd be abysmal, but Cornell's whiny vocals and the cheesy rhythms of their hits do not turn me on.
