The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.

Get notified of game nights and important THX announcements via the hushedcasket Twitter account. You can get the messages on your cell phone, through email, Facebook, and many other ways. Here's how it goes down.

I could be wrong, but I always thought of Morello as a "reluctant participant", so to speak, to the political fanatic we know as Zach de la Rocha. I think he may have been relieved to play with Audioslave and break away from the stereotype.
As weird as this may sound, his guitar-playing even sounded more relaxed and less strung-out (no pun intended). I think his step out from under RATMs shadow was something he needed. His statement has been made-- His consideration as one of the greatest guitar players of our time is not contingent upon RATM, since he was part of a band with an altogether different style and sound, and was just as great. Now, with Rage back together, maybe he can focus on what he does best, rocking.
Alot of what I just said is based on the fact that I think he single-handedly vaulted Audioslave from mediocrity to a solid group with a unique sound, instead of "Soundgarden, take 2". (sorry, Chris Cornell!)
