Except that UT3 is also coming out on Microsoft's operating systems for the PC, and that already uses the mouse and keyboard... why should they worry just about UT3? I probably just made a dumbass reply right there considering I have no idea what I'm talking about. Yeah.

I'm not doubting the peripheal cash cow, rapture, but perhaps I'm just a tradionalist who finds it absurd to have a console use a keyboard and mouse in-game.

What if the Xbox 360 isn't designed to handle the mouse and keyboard in the first place? I've said this before, I don't think it's so much an issue that developers wouldn't put in mouse and keyboard support so much as they can't.
