The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.

Okay, when you’re putting
Okay, when you're putting up pictures of multi player Halo vs single player Killzone, that's kind of a ridiculous comparison. Also while the graphics were nice in that trailer, they were nice in the first Killzone as well, but that game was boring as heck. The gameplay in this looks the same, you spend like the last chunck of gameplay pushing a button on a console and shooting at a giant stationary phallic symbol that doesn't shoot back. Boring.
I prefer the color used in Halo to the monotone of something like Killzone or Gears anyway. This picture is probably more fair for comparison as it's from single player:

And it makes a nice desktop background :)
And honestly, looking closer at the pictures posted here of Killzone and Halo 3 multiplayer, while Killzones monotone colors give it a more striking and maybe more interesting still frame, if you sit and actually look at the level of detail the Halo 3 shot actually looks a bit more detailed, from the terrain on the ground to the intricacies of that actual charaters armor. Having actual human faces that look more real than most games might also make Killzone seem more striking, but even from that multiplayer shot of Halo 3 I see more detail there... and single player looks even better.
