The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.

The first killzone gameplay
The first killzone gameplay was so linear that I can understand how killzone 2 can look better than H3. If k2 is anything like its predecessor, which i have played for a bit then no wonder they can pump some pretty graphics into it. The graphics for the first were not bad at all considering it was on a ps2, but when compared to a game like Halo the gameplay just sucked. GoW was an awesome game and one of my favorites since halo, but it is also linear gameplay wise, which in my opinion contributes to a game looking pretty. You have a set course and cannot stray out of it, sure Halo has a set course as well...but between point A and B there is a much broader area you can explore. Though I should stress that the difference between the goodness of GoW and the crap that is killzone 1 are so far apart they really cant be talked about in the same gaming realm with any accountability. Any game that has the words "Halo Killer" associated with it is destined to fail...it may be a great game, but there is and never will be a halo killer.
