You know how the audio file said, "For 2 enemies now stand where before there was only 1"?

I don't think that the Covenant and humans are offspring or whatever of the Forerunners. If this is a file from the Forerunners, than maybe the Covenant and the Flood are the 2 enemies?

Or maybe the Humans and The Flood are enemies?

Or maybe...the Humans and the Covenant are the enemies?(!)
