I don't believe this works. The issue, from what I've heard, is with NAT. Steps 4 assumes the host by himself has an improperly setup NAT connection.

Also I don't believe this will create "playable" custom games. I still think that was some sort of mod. According to Devin, he caught a glimpse of a few players gamertags from the first youtube video of custom games. In doing some looking around bungie.net. They only started playing "custom games" on XBL a few hours before I started to play. Which is a day after the first youtube video was posted. So they may have been doing something else to play customs; then the preceding day realized what they did worked in XBL also.
