Be undead

The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.

I don't want to hear your complaints about sniping; the new snipers doesn't stop you from sniping me in the head. Every. Freakin'. Time.

I feel that Halo 3 is better than Halo 2, but doesn't live up to being a successor to Halo 1.

I still can't figure out the spawn system. I miss Halo 1's, and the necessity of a timer.

I feel there is less BS in the game, like with Halo 2's lunge melees.

The carbine DOES have more power per shot.

I don't think the BR is weaker. It's still fully possible to kill somebody with four bursts.

I think the AR is the perfect starting weapon. It doesn't do headshots, but it doesn't suck as much as Halo 2's SMG. It's not a piece of crap if you land close to every shot, which leads to a kill. Slayer, a tip is to stop shooting the AR if the reticle is not over a person. Every shot in the AR counts. You think you can just let 'er loose and kill somebody, but you end up reloading before that person ever dies.

SMGs have received a significant boost in Halo 3. They actually feel like the bullet hoses Bungie wanted them to be.

In conclusion, I'll still buy the mega-loller-huge version of Halo 3. It's not as good as the individual-skill-is-super-important Halo 1, but not as bad as the you-can't-do-anything-without-a-teammate Halo 2. Considering how much time I sunk into Halo 2 (despite it being my least favorite), I'll put plenty of time into Halo 3.
