The Hushed Casket was founded in 2002 shortly after the launch of the XBOX console. Today the Hushed Casket is a thriving community of gamers, playing together and publishing news and stories that have appeared in major media properties like Newsweek, G4TV, USA Today, and Penny Arcade. Some game developers have even referenced our guides and news to support their gamers. We don't play Halo. We LAN Halo.

Yes the damage per round is the same. I meant weaker as in not being as useful.
The carbine has the same damage, but does have weaker autoaim/magnetism. It only feels stronger now because the BR is just so weak.
I'd also say the aiming system probably is better. I wasn't complaining about this. I was saying the time it takes to kill people is much longer. This pushes the combat into up close battles and it is more about double teaming (2v1) battles. In H1 you could immediately pistol someone out in the open. In H2 this was diminished, and in H3 it is diminished even more. I don't like this.
The BR would be much better if it had a higher rate of fire, and keeping the reduced magnetism. Allowing for quick kills while still being hard to use.
